How can one stupid little Facebook comment make you so mad? Well it's pretty easy when said comment takes a shot at a southern man's pride for his homeland!
That's right - the jumping off point for this weeks discussion was a shitty Facebook comment that some lady left on one of Trae's Posts .(We are super mature:) This led to a discussion of what it's like to leave your hometown, and whether or not sometimes it's best to stay put (The Brain Drain Phenomenon).
After that we discuss Trump revoking DACA and the challenges that presents to some people who are just trying to stay in the only home they've ever known.

Don't really know what to say about the events that took place this past week. Of course that doesn't stop us from trying, but man - what a fucked up situation.
The first portion of this episode is the boys doing a remote podcast from each of their respective homes (California, New York, Georgia) discussing the protests in Charlottesville and just Nazi Scum in general.
The second portion is an interview with the hilarious Mona Shaikh in Trae's Burbank guest house (Friend of the show David Smalley also sits in with us!)
Mona is a comedian who was raised in Pakistan - so yeah, religion gets brought up. Don't wanna give too much away because this is one you are gonna wanna hear for yourselves!
Mona Shaikh combines a South Asian sensibility with Americanized values cherishing the First Amendment—the right to bear big mouths. And her fresh, fearless, free speech has raised eyebrows. With her offbeat sense of humor Shaikh is a tightrope walker striving to maintain equilibrium while dealing with conflicting forces. With half of her life spent in a prominent conservative Muslim household in Pakistan, and the other immersed with America’s entertainment and culture, Mona knew she was set out to break boundaries. Today Mona resides in Los Angeles, Calif., pursing her career as a comedian and actor while developing her upcoming One-Hour Special and Comedy TV series. She also made history by becoming the first Pakistani female Comedian to headline Hollywood Improv. Mona was most recently featured in Newsweek, The Guardian, LA Weekly, New York Post, Huffington Post, Washington Post and BBC. Mona recently headlined The Real Flava Comedy Club in Dubai and a show in Lisbon, Portugal. She recently got her own show and again made history at The World Famous Comedy Store in Los Angeles called Minority Reportz with a launch of sold-out shows.
Of course you all know David Smalley from his insanely popular podcast Dogma Debate. For more, click here!

For the first portion of this Podcast we sit down in Corey's hotel room in Pasadena to discuss Trae's redemption from a blackout drunk experience in Mexico, and how shitty all our teeth are followed by Drew telling one of the most riveting stories ever about his brief experience as an amateur dentist.
After all that lunacy, we are joined by Ian Harvie (From Transparent) and Jaye McBride to discuss Trump's Transgender ban in the military. Both Ian and Jaye are transgender, so we were able to get an extremely important side of the story and perspective on the issue.
Ian Harvie is an American stand-up comedian and actor who often references being a trans man in his performances. He is best known for his appearance on the television show Transparent. In 2017, transgender actors and actresses including Harvie (with the help of GLAAD and ScreenCrush) were part of a filmed letter to Hollywood written by Jen Richards, asking for more and improved roles for transgender people.
His latest special "May The Best Cock Win" can be found on Seeso

Jaye McBride is a trans comedian from upstate New York currently living in LA. She has worked with comedians such as Jim Norton and Aziz Ansari.

This week we were fortunate enough to record our first LIVE podcast, and even cooler, it was live from Politicon! Joining us we were lucky to have the extremely impressive Alison Lundergan Grimes (Seceretary of State in Kentucky)
We discussed being liberal in the south (You don't say?) How Democrats can reach working class Americans, and what we think Mitch McConnell smells like.
Alison Lundergan Grimes took Kentucky and the nation by storm when, at 35 years old, she ran for the United States Senate against Mitch McConnell. She made her campaign about standing up for women’s rights, veterans’ rights, workers’ rights, and human rights. Despite over $70 million spent against her, Alison kept the race neck-and-neck to the very end in one of the most conservative states in the nation. Recently re-elected to her second term as Kentucky’s Secretary of State, Alison is the youngest female secretary of state in the nation and the only remaining statewide elected female Democrat in the South. Alison is continuing to champion the ideal that’s at her core: every person deserves a fair shake and an equal chance.
